Mini Meatball Parm on Thumb Bread

This recipe is perfect for anyone who wants a little taste of Italy in the palm of their hand.

Here's how to make it:

Ingredients:

  • Fresh mozzarella
  • Pizza sauce
  • Fresh parsley and basil
  • Mini meatballs
  • Garlic
  • Thumb Bread®

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F or use an air fryer (hint: the air fryer is AMAZING and quick!).

  2. Slice your fresh mozzarella into thin rounds.

  3. Chop up your fresh parsley and basil and set aside.

  4. Cut your garlic into small pieces and mix it in with your mini meatballs.

  5. Take your Thumb Bread® and slice it in half horizontally.

  6. On one half of the thumb bread, spread a spoonful of pizza sauce.

  7. Top the pizza sauce with a few mini meatballs and a slice of fresh mozzarella.

  8. Sprinkle some chopped parsley and basil on top.

  9. Repeat steps 6-9 until you've made as many mini meatball parm toasts as you like.

  10. Place your toasts on a baking sheet and bake in the oven or in the air fryer for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. 

  11. Slice into four pieces using a pizza cutter. 

  12. Let your toasts cool for a minute or two before serving.
